Talent Screening is designed to determine a prospective candidate’s eligibility for work authorization in the US using a set of screening questions. This enables clients to receive attorney guidance quickly and easily on visa options for a prospective candidate, and securely provide the information that legal teams need.
To Use Talent Screening to submit a New Candidate Visa Assessment, follow the steps listed below
- Select the Talent Screening tile on the Envoy home screen.
- Select New Visa Assessment
Choose from the options below indicating how you would like to complete the assessment.
Continue Online (Recommended) - Complete the Talent Assessment form directly in the Envoy platform. If using this option, continue on to the next steps.
Download & Upload Form - Complete the form offline and upload it back to the Envoy platform. This feature also allows company users to provide their own company-specific questionnaire or other documents used to capture the assessment specific information. If required data is missing, you will be prompted to provide the missing information.
Fill out the Talent Assessment form directly in the platform. These steps only apply if using the 'Fill Out Online' option.
Mandatory fields include: Candidate First Name & Last Name, Candidate Email, Resume Upload, Job Position, Job Location (City, State), Minimum Years of Experience, Job Description, Preferred Salary.
👉Skip Option: Company users can complete only the above mentioned required fields and submit immediately, bypassing optional sections using the Skip to Submit button.
Company users may provide additional details to support immigration case processing.
Optional fields include: Minimum level of education required, Current U.S. Visa Status & Expiration Date, EAD details, Country of Birth & Citizenship, Prior U.S. Visa History, J-1 Visa Details, H-1B Details, Green Card process information.
💡Any applicable documents and they will auto populate directly to the employee profile.
The legal team will then review and assess the information submitted. Once the assessment is completed, the Status column will update to “Assessment completed with visa options”. Select “View Assessment” to view the results of the assessment.
💡If the legal team needs further information, they will post a message that you can respond to. If there are no visa options available, the Status will reflect Assessment Completed and will explain reasons for denied options.
