As a first step for employee users, we recommend setting up your account profile. Information from this section will automatically populate into any new cases when they are opened in your account, so please review this tab to ensure everything is correct and up to date.

If you have not already watched our introductory video on navigating the Envoy Global platform, please read this article first. 

1. Navigate to the Account tab on the top right of the Overview page.

2. Provide your most updated information in each tab of the Account profile.

   Personal: Provide your basic information. If your residential address changes, please notify the legal team at CIP PC in the Communication Center. Learn more about Updating your address. 

   Job: This section is locked for editing. If you notice information is incorrect, notify your employer directly or the legal team at CIP PC in the Communication Center. 

   Visa Status: This section is locked for editing. If you need to update your visa status, please upload the visa status document to the Document Library and send a message to the legal team at CIP PC in the Communication Center. 

   Tip: Relevant status expirations will be stored in our system and reminders will be sent to your employer when it is time to open an extension (if applicable). 

   Identification: Provide your passport information.

   Tip: When entering your passport details, the expiration date will be saved in our system and will send you reminders when your passport expiration is approaching. 

   I-94 Travel Log: This section will appear for individuals traveling to the U.S. Provide your updated I-94 and travel log information if available. 

3. Click 'Save' as you update each section. 

💡If any of this information changes, please ensure to update it in your Account profile. Learn more about Editing Your Information in the Account tab.

Employers have the ability to open new cases for their employees on their own. We've provided step-by-step instructions on how company users can open a case in the Envoy Global platform.

If the case is for a new employee who has never been sponsored by the company before, we recommend first completing a Talent Assessment for U.S. inbound employees or a Global Assessment for employees traveling anywhere outside the U.S. 

For support with opening a case, please contact your Account Management team. 

1. Select the Create+ button on the top-right hand side of the home screen and select New Case.

   

2. On the next page, Choose the employee. Note: To create a new employee, select the “+ Add new employee” link from the Search Employees drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the Visa type and select Continue. Click 'Other' to search for all visa types. 
   
    

   

4. On the next page, answer case-specific questions to determine the correct case type and workflow. Click Continue. Note: Some of these questions will be pre-populated based on the Division details. 

   
5. On the final page, review the People on the case to ensure the signatory and point of contact are correct. If additional add ons are offered for the case, such as premium processing, then you will have the option to add them here.
6. The total bill for the case will be presented, which we recommend reviewing before clicking 'Confirm & Open.'
