The Envoy platform does not accept documents that are password protected. We’ve provided instructions below on how to upload documents that were originally password protected. If you try to upload a password protected document to your account, you may receive an error message.
Instructions to convert your password protected documents
- Open the PDF file on your computer with Adobe Acrobat, using the security password you have previously set.
- Remove the security setting by using the Tools > Protection > Encrypt > Remove Security options of the file. This should allow you to save the document without added protection.
- Go to File > "Save As" to save the file as a new document with a new name.
- Upload the new document to your Envoy account.
💡 If you still encounter any issues with the password-protected documents:
- Print and scanning the document using other device
- You can also take a screenshot and upload the images to any placeholder.
