The Global Deployment tile displays details about employees traveling to countries outside the United States for work e.g. United Kingdom to Australia, United States to China. Here companies can view their employees who have international assessments in progress and active international casework.
Overview
The Overview tab provides an overview of all active international matters including active travel assessments, cases in progress and employees on an international visa status.
✓ Travel assessments are opened when a company requires the legal team to review employees' eligibility for an international visa. This is the first step in the process before the legal team begins working on the visa.
✓ International cases in progress show cases that the legal team is actively preparing for an employee.
✓ Employees with international visas show the total number of employees who are on an active international status.
The map of deployments highlights the countries where employees have assessments or active global visas. Select a country on the map to filter for assessments or visas for that country.
Scroll down the page to view the workforce table which provides a detailed look at the status of all active travel assessments and casework. This section includes direct links to the corresponding employee profile and a link to the case where you can view action items and feedback from the legal team.
Quick Check
The Global Compliance toolkit includes the Quick Check feature which allows company users with the ability to easily check an employee's eligibility for certain visas.
Many times the legal team requests that a consultation be completed so they can thoroughly review the employee's eligibility and travel criteria to match them with the correct visa. To start a consultation with the legal team, select Get Consultation and follow the instructions on opening a travel assessment below.
Country Info
The Country Info tab of the Global Compliance toolkit includes a library of resources including a brief summary of immigration in that country, overview of common visa types, and important considerations. These resources are available for download.
