How to check USCIS processing times

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) publishes processing times which vary depending on the case type and service center. The Envoy Global platform helps keep you updated on processing times, and we provide guidance on how to check the most updated timelines.

Government processing times are subject to change, regardless of timelines previously reported.

USCIS publishes current processing timelines on their official website. Follow the below instructions to check processing times:

  1. Visit USCIS’ Processing Times website: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
  2. Select the form of the filing, the category of the form, and the Service Center whose processing times you would like information on. This information can be found on the case Receipt Notice.

💡If you’re unsure of the Field Office or Service Center, reference the first 3 letters of the Receipt Number on your I-485 Receipt Notice, which indicates the Field Office or Service Center. We’ve listed a few of the common acronyms below:

    MSC – National Benefits Center

    EAC – Vermont Service Center

    WAC – California Service Center

    LIN – Nebraska Service Center

    SRC – Texas Service Center

  3. Click Get processing time

If you’ve noticed that the case has been processing with the USCIS past the current reported timelines, please contact the legal team at CIP PC directly by posting in the Communication Center in the Envoy Global platform.
