U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) publishes processing times which vary depending on the type of filing and if applicable, the service center it is being processed at. Once a case is marked as Sent to Government in the Envoy Global platform, we recommend using the below steps to track the status of the case with USCIS. Common cases processed by USCIS include non-immigrant, I-140, and I-148 filings among others.
The legal team at Corporate Immigration Partners (CIP) will update the status of the case in the Envoy Global platform as they receive updates from USCIS.
Check current case processing times
- Visit USCIS’s official processing times website >
- Select the form of the filing, the category of the form, and the service center whose processing times you would like information on. This information can be found on the case Receipt Notice available in the Supporting Documents section in Envoy Global.
If you are required to enter a field office or service center, reference the first 3 letters of the Receipt Number on the Receipt Notice. Here are a few of the common acronyms below:
- MSC – National Benefits Center
- EAC – Vermont Service Center
- WAC – California Service Center
- LIN – Nebraska Service Center
- SRC – Texas Service Center
