Update your company name in myUSCIS

This article is intended for employers who need to update their company name in MyUSCIS organizational account to complete Cap registration and electronically file casework with USCIS. The company name in MyUSCIS must match the USCIS company name listed in Envoy Global to ensure the accounts are correctly linked. 

Companies working with Envoy Global and the legal team at Corporate Immigration Partners (CIP P.C.) should work closely with their Account Management and legal teams to ensure their account is setup correctly. 

Review the instructions below to confirm that the company name in both your MyUSCIS account and Envoy Global match exactly. Small differences to the format such as "LLC" v. "Corp." can disrupt the integration. 

Confirm the company name in MyUSCIS

1. Log in to your USCIS Organizational Account as an Administrator. If you do not have a USCIS Organizational Account, read more on how to setup a MyUSCIS account before proceeding. 
2. Navigate to My Company tab to edit the company name. 

The company name should match exactly how it is listed in the Envoy Global platform. If the name in Envoy Global is not correct, then follow the below instructions to update it. 

Confirm the company name in Envoy Global

1. Go to the Administration page from your profile icon.
2. Select the Division tab and click into the division that needs to be linked to the MyUSCIS Organizational Account. If multiple divisions need to be linked, then repeat the below steps for each division that requires electronic filing.
3. Select the Details tab and enter the company name exactly as it appears in the MyUSCIS Organizational Account. It is critical that the company name is identical including all capitalizations, period, etc. for the integration to be successful.
4. Click Save.
