Certain cases filed with the USCIS are eligible for electronic filing (e-filing). This guide reviews how to electronically review and sign the Form G-28 and Form I-129, prepared by Corporate Immigration Partners (CIP P.C.).
Account Permissions: Company users (Company Administrators, Division Administrators)
The Envoy Global platform indicates when there are tasks ready for you in USCIS.
If you have any feedback or edits, do not approve any of the forms. If you’d like to make edits on the petition in USCIS, please reject the forms and contact your legal team so they can make the necessary edits. If there are no edits, approve the forms.
The Envoy Global platform and the MyUSCIS website sends notifications to review and approve forms in MyUSCIS (see example notification).
Approve the G-28 Form in USCIS
- Log in to your USCIS Organizational Account as an Administrator. If you do not have a USCIS Organizational Account, read more on how to setup a MyUSCIS account before proceeding.
- Go to My Company tab and select the Cases tab.
- Select Drafts to review the Form G-28 and I-129.
- From the Drafts section, select the View Draft link to review the forms. You will have the option to download the Form I-129 and G-28 on the next page.
- Select the Review G-28 button and click through the applicable disclaimers.
- Review the G-28 form. Pay close attention to the client information including the address and contact information to ensure it is accurate.
- If the G-28 is correct, select 'I accept the G-28 and want to provide my signature.' If the G-28 is not correct because it contains a mistake, select 'I decline the G-28 and want to send the draft form back to my representative to make updates.' If you need to decline the G-28, please contact your CIP legal team first.
- If you approve the G-28, review the client's content to release information.
- Once complete, select Next and Submit the G-28. Then, Finish.
Approve the I-129 Form in USCIS
- Follow steps 1-3 above to get to the Drafts section of your USCIS Organizational Account.
- Select the Review I-129 button. Click through and review the applicable disclaimers. Then, you will be prompted to review the details on the I-129.
- Review the information provided on the I-129 and confirm that it is correct. For ease of review, select View draft snapshot to download the form as a .pdf.
- If the I-129 is correct, select 'I accept the I-129 and want to provide my signature.' If the I-129 is not correct because it contains a mistake or issue, select 'I decline the I-129 and want to send the draft form back to my representative to make updates.' If you feel you need to decline the I-129, please contact your CIP legal team first.
- Review the disclaimers, type your name in the signature textbox to provide your e-signature, then select Next. Then, Finish and send.
After you select the Finish and send button, the petition status will update to Pending Representative Submission so the CIP legal team may pay and submit the petition.
