USICS introduced electronic filing (e-filing) for H-1B petitions in 2024, marking a significant shift towards a fully digital immigration process. E-filing is now available for certain petitions, which are filed through MyUSCIS. Envoy Global offers the ability to e-file H-1B and I-140 petitions, and sponsoring employers can work with their legal team at CIP to decide whether e-filing is recommended on a specific filing.

Enabling e-filing for cases
If sponsored employers are interested in e-filing a new or eligible active case, contact the legal team at CIP or your Account Management team. Employees can request that a case be e-filed, with the approval of their employer and guidance from the legal team at CIP. There can be limitations to e-filing depending on the nature of the case.
Sponsored employers can also enable e-filing as the default filing method on their Envoy Global account. To enable e-filing, Company Administrators should follow these steps:
✓ Verify your myUSCIS account is linked to your Attorney’s myUSCIS account. Please note that your CIP
Attorney’s myUSCIS email may be different than their normal email address; verify it is the correct one before linking. Learn how to link and register representatives to your myUSCIS account.
If you have previously registered Cap cases in the Envoy Global platform, your account should already be linked.
