Recover a myUSCIS account

MyUSCIS accounts are used by sponsoring employers and the legal team at CIP to register beneficiaries for the H-1B Cap lottery and electronically file casework. This article is intended to help you troubleshoot recovering a myUSCIS Organizational Account.

If you know your company has an Organizational Account in myUSCIS, but your Company Administrator is no longer with the company, you will need to recover the account based on the below scenarios. You should not attempt to create a new Organizational account.

💡If you are not sure whether your company has a myUSCIS Organizational account, contact your Account Management team at Envoy Global.

Organizational account exists, but the Company Administrator is no longer with the company

If someone within your company has access to the previous Administrator's email, or your IT team can assist in accessing their email, you can follow these steps to send a password reset to their email.

  1. Go to myUSCIS login page
  2. Select Forgot Password?
  3. Enter the email of the previous Company Administrator
  4. Follow the password reset instructions from the email received from USCIS.
  5. Once access is regained to the Administrator account, follow the instructions in the article Adding Company Administrators to add a new active Administrator.
  6. Remove any Administrators that are no longer with the company.

If no one has access to the previous Administrator's email, you will need to contact USCIS at  my.uscis.gov/account/v1/needhelp for account recovery support.
