Travel assessments are typically required for any employee or prospective candidate who is traveling internationally. Global Travel Assessments are specifically required for employees traveling from the U.S. to another country or country-country outside the U.S.. The travel assessment is a preliminary step so our in country team(s) can assess the travel requirements and provide a visa recommendation.
Once a travel assessments is complete, the company can open the necessary visa for the employee.

To create and submit a new Global Travel Assessment, follow the steps listed below
- At the top right of the overview page, click Create + and select New Case from the drop down menu
- Select Global for the visa location and Global Assessment.
- Choose who the assessment is for, whether for an existing employee or indicate if the traveler is unknown.
- For an existing employee, select the employee and destination country from the drop-down list.
- For an unknown traveler, select the Division the traveler would be working under, and select a destination country from the drop-down lists.
- Select Open Assessment and complete the questionnaire with all information available for the traveler and assignment. If the Assessment is for an employee (not 'traveler is unknown') then the option to Assign Assessment to Employee will be available in the top right corner. By clicking this, the Assessment will be assigned to the employee to complete instead of the company.
- When completing the questionnaire, please answer the questions to the best of your ability and use the 'i' information icons for support. For the question, What immigration services are you looking for assistance with? answer I need Envoy to tell me if you are not confident what type of visa may be required.
- Once all required information has been filled out, select Complete Assessment to submit the assessment to the legal team for review.

The legal team will then review and assess the information submitted. Once the assessment is completed, the Status column on the Global Deployment tile will update to Assessment completed with visa options. Select View Assessment to view the results of the assessment.
7. If a visa option is provided, then the option to open that case will become available. Note: If there are no visa options available, the Status will reflect āAssessment Completedā and will explain reasons for denied options.
