To ensure all parties can remain updated on the status of a case, a timeline is featured on the Envoy Global platform highlighting the current stage of case processing. During the Case Preparation/Review stage, the legal team will be reviewing any information provided by the employee or other parties involved, such as the sponsoring employer and will begin or continue preparing the case.
Initial case review stage
The case will move to the initial case review stage once the questionnaire is complete and all required supporting documents have been provided.
During this stage, the legal team will review the questionnaire and documents using the information provided to begin preparing the case e.g. drafting the forms and letters for the case.
The legal team may add additional action items during their review. If additional actions are required, then the case will move to action needed status for the employee or sponsoring company to provide more information.
Subsequent case review stages
Each time the legal team requests additional information from an employee or another party, the case must return to the legal team’s review so they can determine if the details are sufficient for case preparation. A case can move to subsequent case review stages several times during case preparation depending on the information provided and additional supporting information needed.
As the legal team reviews documents, the placeholder will be updated to reflect if it was approved by the attorney.
