During the Initial Information Gathering stage of a case in the Envoy Global platform, the legal team gathers pertinent information from all necessary parties through the case questionnaire and requests supporting documents. This information will be used to prepare the case.
The legal team will not begin reviewing the case until it’s been submitted to the legal team’s review.
The initial information gathering stage is typically the first step of any case opened in the Envoy Global platform. There are portions of this stage that may require action from the employee or other parties, such as the sponsoring employer. When all required actions are completed to 100% for this stage, the case will be ready to submit to the legal team's review.
💡 If employees do not see the option to submit the case to the legal team’s review, the case will be submitted on their behalf, and they'll receive an email notification from noreply@envoyglobal.com.
The Envoy platform will provide outstanding action that must be completed for this stage in the case action items list. Users can access the action items list from either your Account Overview page or within the case. Click View all Action Items within the case page for an expanded list of all the necessary action for a case.
